Aeiko's past life betrayed

Yay so I been having nothing to do since I realized I was going 3 days ahead of schedule for everything XD so I have a couple days before I departure home lol.

In my spare time i created a rival/enemy for Saya, an OC belonging to sayanna. I'm basing all my ideas off my own thought up saya incarnation cos I don't know squat about the previous incarnations made by the owner (it's too much different stuff to remember!).

This pic is of Aeiko in a past life, at the time known as Midoriko. Saya's past life, Akane, and Midoriko used to fight together slaying various evils. They were both known for their strength as guardian preistesses until one day after a battle which lasted for hours, Midoriko is critically wounded by an enormous tree demon and held in it's root-like claws.

The demon said to Akane "I will devour this priestess body and soul and my power will increase exponentially! You are a far weaker morsel that she; I will not waste time devouring you. Now flee or perish!" Akane, seeing the futility in trying to save Midoriko, ran. Midoriko, still conscious as the demon began sucking away her lifeforce with it's touch, performed a soul burst so that her spirit would not be eaten by the demon. The soul burst killed them both but allowed Midoriko's soul to escape the taint of the demon.
